(Tahini, Tamari, Lemon Dressing)
1⁄2 cup Barlean’s High Lignan Flax Oil
1⁄4 cup fresh lemon juice
1⁄4 cup water
1⁄4 cup low sodium Tamari
2 tbsp raw ‘salt free’ sesame Tahini (roasted & salted tahini will do, but flavor will vary)
2 tsp sea kelp powder (or another powdered sea vegetable)
2 tsp fresh ginger juice (grate fresh ginger and squeeze out juice), or add small piece of ginger to the blender.
1 garlic clove (peeled) - optional
Dash of cayenne
Blend all ingredients except for the oil. When the ingredients are blended, add the oil in slowly while the blender is on low speed.
Enjoy immediately, or chill before serving.
The dressing keeps fresh and tasty up to several days in the refrigerator.
Note: The dressing will thicken a little over time because of the thickening quality of sea veggies.
